• Ray is a training officer with the State of Ohio.
• Ray's interest in Polish dance started at an early age. His parents both had a background in dance. At 14 he enrolled in Jutrzenka Polish Language School. Today, he continues to further his studies in Polish traditions and dance.
•
He has been a member of several other local organizations, bringing Polish folk dance to the northeastern Ohio community.
• Ray co-founded Syrena Dance Ensemble in Nov. 1999.

Marlena Zebrowski

• Marlena is a student at Cuyahoga Community College, working towards a career as a real estate agent.
• Marlena was born and raised in Grajewo, a little city in the eastern part of Poland.
• After moving to Cleveland, Marlena joined the group in the summer of 2002.
• Her interests include the culinary arts, Hard Rock & metal music, movies & travel.

Tim Stoll

• Tim holds a degree in landscaping & floral design.
• Originally Tim is from Berlin Hts, outside Sandusky.
• Tim has been with the group since it was formed in 1999.
• He has many interests and hobbies including roller coasters, tennis, volleyball,
dancing and movies. He also collects items from Poland, Tigger toys, Beanie
Babies & Santa Claus figures. |

Michelle Kautz

• Michelle is a computer programmer and analyst. She holds a masters degree in software engineering.
• Michelle has been dancing with the ensemble since 1999. She has also been a member of the Children's PNA, the original Syrena & Polonia dance groups.
• For fun she enjoys hiking, biking, several other styles of dance and collecting Cookie Monster & kangaroos. |

• Tom is the director/ choreographer for Erie's Polish Folk Dancers of Council
72 in Erie, PA and a member of lodge 2785. Tom has been actively involved in
the Polish community both as a dancer for over 27 years, and as an instructor
for 14 years.
• Outside of Polish dancing, Tom is employed as a Member Service and Loan
Officer for the Erie Federal Credit Union and enjoys his part time job bartending.
• In his spare time, he like to watch movies and hang out with friends and
family. |
Valerie Cervenak

• Valerie is a medical biller for Odyssey Health System and part-time assistant manager for Party Place.
• Valerie and her husband live in Medina with their cat, Tommy & hamster, Thumper.
• Her interests include hiking, co-ed soccer, pool, swimming, midnight bowling, dancing and collecting stuffed dogs. She looks forward to learning street hockey this summer. |

• Carlos was born and raised in Peru. He has lived in the United States
for 3 years.
• He joined the group in 2003.
• Carlos was married May 2004 and enjoys collecting pins, coins and soccer
jerseys. |

• Cindy recently joined the Syrena Folk Ensemble of Cleveland after being
the coordinator / instructor for Erie's Polish Folk Dancers for three years.
• She is a member of the PNA Lodge
2785.
• Besides Polish dancing she enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter,
Devin and her two dogs, Megan & Misty.
• She is also an active member in
her church community. She also is co-owner of House of For and Fabrics. |

the owner of Kathy’s Creative Sewing Center in downtown Lakewood.
• She enjoys
sewing, cooking and dancing with the group. Kathy has an home economic degree
in secondary education, and a major in art from Ursuline college.
• Kathy is married
and has three sons with a grandchild
on the way. |
